As you might have seen on our Viral Autobots Bonus main page, we took a little bit of a shot at the “other guys'” bonus packages. It wasn’t a swipe at anyone in particular, but just the state of the industry as a whole. But was it really true? Are most of the bonus packages for Viral Autobots out there really utter crap?
In this post I’m going to actually go over a few of the actual bonus packages currently offered by the sites that are ranking for the term “viral autobots bonus” on the front page of Google. We’ll take a look at how they stack up to our offer and see if it was warranted to call them junk or not. Who knows? Maybe we’ll come across something that is actually decent. ( I promise I kept a straight face when I typed that) 😉
The History Of Bonus Packages In The Internet Marketing World
Before we get into the meat of the current bonuses, let’s take a minute to understand where these things even come from, what they USED to look like, and why anyone would want to offer a bonus in the first place.
Way back when (like 10 years ago), high dollar product launches were all the rage in Internet Marketing. The net was at a kind of “sweet spot” for making money. It was evolved enough that making money was actually possible, but it was still so brand new that there was a LOT less competition. As a result, people could charge a high price for IM information and software.
Customers were making money and everything was brand new so the information was actually really valuable. Traffic Secrets by John Reese was one of the first to knock it out of the park with his “Million Dollar Day” product launch. The trend took off from there and a lot of big name gurus had multiple 7 figure launches selling products over the $1k mark.
Due to this high price tag, affiliates could also make a ton of money in commissions. As a result, they would fight tooth and nail for commissions and offer insane bonus packages for buying through their affiliate link.
At one point, I remember seeing multiple affiliates offering things like laptop computers (which were much more expensive back then) just for purchasing through their link.
Over time, the industry got saturated and just changed in general. High dollar product launches are no longer as common and as a result, the bonus packages have taken a turn as well.
If the front end product is only $37 and an affiliate makes 50% of that, you can see how it’s no longer possible to offer something like a laptop computer as a bonus.
But what is being offered? Is it still worth it to seek out a bonus package?
Let’s Look At The Current Viral Autobots Bonus Packages Available Online
To be fair, at the time of this writing, Viral Autobots has not yet launched. So some results may change, BUT I am looking at what’s currently ranking for the term “viral autobots bonus” on Google. So you’d think they’re at least offering something decent if they are targeting that phrase(and the people that will be searching for a bonus).
I’m looking at 3 sites. I won’t name them, but instead we’ll call them Site A, Site B, and Site C.
Affiliate Site A’s Viral Autobots Bonus:
Affiliate site A is currently offering you…. wait for it… Nothing. Yep, they’re ranking for the term and they offer nothing so far. I’m assuming they will be offering something at launch time but so far it remains to be seen. So much for giving you the chance to make a decision ahead of launch time…. thanks guys!
Affiliate Site B’s Viral Autobots Bonus:
Alright, so moving on to site B. ok looks like they are offering nothing. Wait, WHAT?
Yeah, looks like they are not offering a bonus and they don’t intend to. At least they’re up front about it on their site. They state that they are not offering a bonus because most of the time bonuses are not worth anything and “you shouldn’t buy a product based on the bonus package.”
OK, well I can at least respect the honesty and I do somewhat agree with the sentiment. You definitely shouldn’t buy a product just for the bonus, but I do not see why it would be a bad thing to get something that offers true value in addition to the main product. Sounds more like they are being lazy and trying to disguise it with this “philosophy”.
Affiliate Site C’s Viral Autobots Bonus:
Alright, finally we have an affiliate site that is actually offering a true bonus package for purchasing through their link. Let’s take a look at it –
Looks like they are offering several :money making programs”.
We have –
- 22 “high quality” ebooks
- Ovarian Cyst PLR
- Squeeze Page Templates
- Kindle Cover Templates
- a “Logo Kit”
- Facebook App making course
- Website Flipping course
Hmmm… In my personal opinion, I don’t see anything that would be valuable enough for me to want to grab that bonus package. After seeing the previous two sites not offering ANYTHING, I can at least say kudos to this affiliate for at least giving their visitors SOMETHING. I mean something is usually better than nothing.
But to be honest, nothing might even be better. I’d hate to get distracted from using the core Viral Autobots product by something that is of low quality. I can’t say for sure that these bonuses are low quality without first seeing them, but I do know, for example, that I have never seen a Kindle cover template that was worth anything of real world value.
I currently have 7 books published on Kindle and I can tell you from experience that the cover is a HUGE part of sales. I would never try to design my own cover for Kindle from a cheap PLR template. There are even Fiverr designers that are pretty good. you have to dig deep to find them but they are there.
I don’t see anything so far on the market (other than ours) that is a legit valuable bonus for Luke’s amazing software. Maybe one will show up, but until then please take a look at the bonus we are offering right here.
It was custom created to complement Viral Autobots and truly help you succeed in all that you do online.
